Re-Directs and Deeplinking on Ancestry.co.uk

Hello all,

GREAT news.

Re-Directing/Deeplinking links on the Ancestry.co.uk affiliate programme is now possible. Many of you have been asking for this functionality to deeplink to your desired pages within Ancestry and the other Myfamily.com sites.

Sign in to your CJ interface (
www.cj.com) and go to the GET LINKS section. Click on TEXT LINKS and you'll find the new link added, number 10402952.

Click GET HTML and you'll be shown an overview of the link. Here you can encrypt links, set links to open in a new browser or hide the tracking code in the link. Just below these options click SHOW ADVANCED OPTIONS.

Showing the advanced options allows you to add your own SID tracking but most importantly this is where you add the destination URL - The place where you want to click through to. Don't worry. This will initially be populated with a default URL but you just have to replace it.

Depending on where you are redirecting or deeplinking make sure you replace the text link message. It currently says REDIRECTING TEXT LINK.

You'll then have your trackable Ancestry.co.uk affiliate programme url ready to use.
Any questions then please just ask.

Paul.
